As a Referrer: Anyone holding an active HLB Singapore Account and received the referral email can share their referral code for a chance to earn rewards!
As a Referee (Friend): Must be a Malaysian citizen or Singapore PR born in Malaysia who does not have an HLB Singapore iSavings Account and opens one during the promotion period. Must complete a first single Qualifying Links Transfer of min. S$1,500 / RM4,500 between their linked SG and MY accounts by 15 January 2027 with the Referrer's referral code to qualify.
They can still participate! They need to open an HLB Malaysia account first via the HLB Connect MY App. Once set up, they can log in, navigate to Overview > Links, and apply for an HL Bank Singapore iSavings Account.
Your friend must input your unique Referral Code directly into the Description field when making the Links transfer. Please refer to the terms and conditions for the full criteria of the qualifying transfer.
Yes, your friend must complete a first single transfer of at least S$1,500 from his/her newly opened HLB SG iSavings Account to his/her HLB MY account (SGD transfer from HLB SG, credited to HLB MY in MYR) or RM4,500 from his/her HLB MY to his/her newly opened HLB SG iSavings Account HLB SG account (MYR transfer from HLB MY, credited to HLB SG in SGD). Cumulative transfers do not qualify and the qualification of the minimum transfer amount shall be determined based on the sending currency amount at the point of transaction initiation.
Linking requires matching personal details across both entities. Please verify the following common requirements:
1. Ensure your registered Passport/NRIC number and Mobile Number are identical on both your HLB Malaysia and HL Bank Singapore accounts
2. Always initiate account linking directly inside the HLB Connect MY App via Overview > Links > HLB Singapore > Link my account now.
3. Confirm both accounts are fully verified, active, and not restricted or dormant.
