    Q1: What is PayNow Corporate?

     

    It allows businesses to send and receive SGD funds instantly using its Unique Entity Number (UEN) instead of bank account numbers.

    Q2: What currencies do PayNow support?

     

    It only supports Singapore Dollar fund transfer.

    Q3: What is the maximum transfer limit?

     

    The maximum transaction limit is S$200,000 for payment made via FAST.

     

    Q4: Can I make a PayNow fund transfer to a non-participating bank?

     
     
    PayNow fund transfer can only be made to a PayNow participating bank.

    Q1: Who is eligible to register?

     

    Any entity incorporated in Singapore with a valid UEN and a Singapore dollar corporate bank account is eligible.

    Q2: How can I register?

     

    Log in to HLB ConnectFirst and click on “PayNow”. Follow the "PayNow Corporate User Guide".

    Q3: Can I link multiple bank accounts from different banks to my UEN?

     

    You can include an optional 3 character alphanumeric suffix to your UEN (e.g., UEN12345678A001) if you wish to link more than one account to PayNow.

     

    Q4: Can I link my company’s proxy to a bank account belonging to a subsidiary?

     
     
    No, your company’s UEN cannot be linked to another entity’s bank account.

    Q5: I am a foreign incorporated company, can I register for PayNow Corporate?

     

    PayNow Corporate is currently only available for entities incorporated in Singapore.

    Q1: Can I impose surcharge on customers for using PayNow?

     

    No. Under ABS Guidelines https://abs.org.sg/docs/library/merchant-surcharge-prohibition-faq.pdf, businesses are prohibited from imposing surcharges on consumers for using PayNow.

    Q2: How can I receive payments with PayNow Corporate?

     

    You can publish your UEN or your PayNow QR code on your invoice, business card, website, app, email and even at in-store counter. Businesses or individuals can pay to your UEN or scan your QR via internet / mobile banking.

    Q3: Will I be notified if I receive a PayNow payment?

     

    Incoming PayNow transactions will be reflected on your business account statements.

    Q4: How can I check my PayNow proxy details?

     
     
    You can log in to HLB ConnectFirst and click on “PayNow”. Under “PayNow” menu, refer to the table showing “PayNow ID” which contains the registered PayNow proxy details.

    Q1: What is PayNow QR?

     

    PayNow QR is a QR representation of your PayNow proxy, with or without the reference number and amount details.

    Q2: How can I use PayNow QR to receive payments?

     

    You can generate PayNow QR directly via HLB ConnectFirst and display the QR to receive payments.

    Singapore dollar deposits of non-bank depositors are insured by the Singapore Deposit Insurance Corporation, for up to S$100,000 in aggregate per depositor per Scheme member by law. Foreign currency deposits, dual currency investments, structured deposits and other investment products are not insured.
